Children’s Illustration Workshops with Vanja Kragulj

COLOURFUL BIRDS COLLAGE (4-6 YR OLDS)

WORKSHOP FOR 4-6 YR OLDS// 10:30-11:30AM

Join us for a playful and creative collage workshop, inspired by the book Birds of a Color by Élo! Guided by local illustrator Vanja Kragulj, children aged 4-6 will explore patterns and paper collage as they create their own unique bird illustrations.

PAPER COLLAGE OWL (7-10 YR OLDS)

WORKSHOP FOR 7-10 YR OLDS// 1:30-3:00PM

In this hands-on workshop, young artists aged 7-10 will create their own owl illustration using cut-paper collage. Kids will add their own flair with vibrant patterns, shapes, and colours to make each owl one-of-a-kind!

ARTIST BIO

Vanja Kragulj is a Canadian illustrator, surface designer, and art educator. Her work includes children's books, toys, and public art. She’s collaborated with renowned publishers like Hallmark, Scholastic, Workman Publishing, and Highlights For Children. When she's not illustrating, Vanja leads workshops for children and adults often drawing inspiration from children's books, illustration, and graphic design.

These workshops are for children aged 4-6 (morning) and aged 7-10 (afternoon). Please register each child individually. Participation is $20 per child or no charge under our Fair Entry Program if cost is a barrier. Parents are invited to bring a book and enjoy the house and yard during the session.
